What’s a PRO (Performance Rights Organization)?
Performing Rights Organizations (PROs) are organizations responsible for collecting income on behalf of songwriters and music publishers when a song is publicly broadcast or performed. Your performance can include plays in television, radio, clubs, restaurants, websites, clubs, clubs, clubs, bars, and anywhere considered a public space. PROs collect fees from these establishments and then pay them to their members, songwriters, and publishers.
